Lily Show
The centerpiece of the North American Lily Society annual International Lily Show and Symposium is the Lily Show. This year the annual Lily Show will be held in the Atrium at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Ontario. The largest botanical garden in Canada, a National Historic Site, and a registered charitable organization with a mandate to bring together people, plants and nature, it is located at 680 Plains Rd W, Burlington, ON L7T 4H4, Canada.
Our Lily Show Team has constructed an extensive show schedule that includes Horticulture, Design, and a Lily Photo Contest. Each section of the Lily Show schedule has exceptional classes to encourage your participation.
Horticulture Division
The Horticulture division of the lily show has inspiring classes for seedlings, named single stem lilies, as well as a challenging class for remarkable collections of lilies. Awards from each section of the show schedule will lead to the selection of the “Top Awards” for the Horticulture Division of the Lily Show. Download the 2020 Lily Show Schedule for additional information.
Floral Design Division
Are you an experienced flower arranger? A novice? Or in between? Awaken your creative spirit with an exhibit in the "Vision 2020" Floral Design section of the Lily Show. Lilies are very dramatic and lovely in flower arrangements. The Floral Design section adds so much beauty and excitement to our Lily Show.
Be part of it! Jump in and try your hand at creating something to add to the Lily Show. Learn more about the entire Floral Design section by downloading the 2020 Artistic Design Show Schedule
.Photo Contest
The Photo Contest, at the North American Lily Society - Lily Show, is open to all members as well as non-members. All photos should feature "true" lilies (genus Lilium). Photos may be of a single lily flower or multiple flowers, or multiple plants grouped in a flower bed, a vase or similar arrangement. Close-ups are acceptable as long as the photo clearly depicts the subject as a member of the genus Lilium.
There are two division; the Competition Division is open to amateur photographers only, and the Exhibition Division is open to all photographers and previously entered photographs. Learn more about the Photo Contest by downloading the 2020 Photography Contest Schedule.
